T91 80% lower receiver question?

When I purchased my lower, back when they were 180 bucks, were those made in Taiwan? I also noticed the the lower is now 100$ and it says in the description made in the USA. Am I right about the older 80% receivers being made in Taiwan?

I'm simply asking out of curiosity. If the older ones were made in Taiwan that adds more cool factor to my build. :)

Assuming the pictures are an accurate representation of the product, it would appear these new lowers are not true T91 lowers. True T91 lowers have a distinctive design where the buffer tube threads. The current 80s T91Tactical is offering use the standard AR-15 forging.

The newer ones are 'A2' profile, and feature reenforcements around the front takedown pins and the buffer tube threads. The T91 uses the older 'A1' profile.

John Brace aka 'Braceman' can reprofile an A2 to an A1. Costs $65. I just had him do one for me, plus the engraving. ($75. Plust the reprofile for $140 total plus the cost of the 80 percent blank, which was $40).

We ran out of the forging we acquired previously.
US made lower receiver(mfg maybe different between the batch) also help with 922r compliance once we launch T91 full rifle clone. In addition, it will bring the cost down as well for everyone who is interested.

So who bought one of the original Taiwanese forged lowers? I would love to get one just as a sample to see if I can replicate its features with a US made A1 lower.

How is the engraving on the current T91Tac lower? The other examples of engrave all look pretty bad. Here's mine I did 2 years ago.

Very long shot, but if you happen to have an "Original T91Tactical T91 80%" receiver, with that distinctive buffer tube reinforcement, I would be highly interested in buying.
