T91 with Law tactical folding adaptor buffer peening

Hi All! I’m Mufftruck and I recently finished a T91 12.5” pistol build. I wanted to try it on one of my SBR lowers that has a Law tactical folder on it. Everything worked great, but upon disassembly I noticed the my buffer was peened from slamming into the buffer retaining pin. I assume this has something to do with some slight dimensional differences with the T91 carrier. Has anyone else solved for this issue yet? I’m thinking there’s a couple of solutions. 1 - run without a retaining pin although I’m not sure the law folder will fold without it. 2 - put some kind of spacer at the back of the carrier to make it a tad longer. 3 - use a JP capture spring - not sure of this will work.
