What will be interesting to note is if the 12.5 has had the GP opened to function reliably. I spoke with Dave @Wolf in Tennessee when I cut my 16 inch down to 11.5. He told me at the time, the current GP orifice will reliably function all the way down to 14.5 but there was no data on the shorter barrel even though The Taiwanese do have the 12.5 in inventory.
I had to open my GP considerably to almost AK GP size to get it to lock back on an empty mag.
Atlantic will be sending me one to check it out.

Well, idk what exactly they are offering but according to aimsurplus.com website says 12.5" and SKU shows XWAUT91B125.

Yes according to Steve Dittman from WPA. There was only a run of 100 with the 12 inch barrel. Hope you got one because they are sold out at both Atlantic and Aim surplus.
Mine arrived Friday.

I have not had it to the range yet but I'm hopping my 12" on my SBR lower runs as well as it looks.





Measured my barrel after reading this thread and mine measures 12.125". I'm assuming I got one of the early ones. I ordered mine from Atlantic on Feb 11.

The pistol grip and rear sight came from right here at T91 Tactical and even though I waited a couple days to place my order it arrived before the upper. Thanks.

I was happy to see that the barrel profile was not an HBAR. Balances very nice.

Is the gas port angled or straight? I have 2 16" uppers that I'm going to shorten and I just want to know how much of a headache is going to be.
