Guys,
I have a barrel with burrs half way that I havn't been able to remove with normal cleaning.
No shooting yet.
Is shooting through a burr going to create any damage? The burrs are large enough to be clearly visible with the eye.

Does the burr located around gas port area?
Some said just shoot it and it will be gone after few rounds and some said use cleaning rod from both end see if you can get rid of it.
If it's too large to handle, send it back and get another replacement.

no, there are two burrs in different spots. not sure if one is gas port flash. Im going to do some slugging with JB bore paste.
