Best way to remove white wolf markings on receiver

Is there a specific kind of sandpaper or something else I can use to remove the 5.56 and wolf white text markings on the side of the receiver without damaging the finish?

Most likely it's laser engraved, once you sand it you will remove the anodized coating.
IMHO, Best way to do is sand blast then Cerakote the entire upper.

Easy way: send it to a competent cerakoter to get it coated in a dark gray/black.

Hard way: chemically remove the anodization. Sand down any remaining laser markings if present. Re-anodize. Bonus if you have a matching raw lower to anodize at the same time and get the same color.

Sharpie marker at least it would be a blackish color. I've seen a few people who blacked it out with a sharpie.

We do carry stripped T91 upper without marking.

Dumb question: will they expect a stripped upper?
