Does anyone know if those 14.5" are pinned and welded (P&W)?
It shouldn't matter until the upper is mated to a receiver, then you either need a P&W'd 16" barrel or a SBR tax stamp.
I would prefer to choose my own muzzle device and have the P&W done on my dime.
The listing should state if the barrel is an NFA item or not.
"NFA" would indicate its not P&W.
"Non-NFA" = P&W

They are not permanently attached. My last 14.5 was not and is not advertised as being so. A <16" barrel or upper is not an NFA item and does not need to be advertised as such. They can happily go on pistol lowers without a tax stamp.Iamscotticus wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:45 pm Does anyone know if those 14.5" are pinned and welded (P&W)?
