Hi.
I hope this is helpful.
I put a Geisle Super 42 buffer spring in my Wolf A1.
I had FTEs with the various buffers I tried, first with the 4oz heavy then 3 oz. then removing weights in steps while trying the different loads. One of my buffers can be screwed apart.
I found the 5.56 XM193 55gr. had a better cycling than the 5.56 XM855 62gr..
I found the way the Super 42 worked with both loads consistently was to use a buffer with the weights removed.
Why don't I just use a mil spec spring?
I think for the long term the Super 42 will not set or break. I think its a well made spring.

PS, the buffer that screwed apart came with a cheap lower build kit. I would not recommend running it as my regular buffer. I wouldn't trust anything that can separate like that. But it was perfect for experimenting with weights. The empty buffer I am running is a regular type with a roll pin retained bumper, weights removed.
