I saw this in the store. It said something about needing a 0.750" gas journal barrel and it won't fit on the Wolf A1. I just measured my Wolf A1 without taking the block off and it seems to be 0.750" so what am I missing?

Would you post photos showing how you measuring the barrel?

I'm not measuring that accurately because I haven't taken the original block off. What's supposed to be different? From poking around the outside with calipers, it looks like a 0.750" journal.

I don't have their recent batch on hand, they may have changing the barrel profile closed to AR-15 standard.
Anyway, just snap a photo where you measured it with caliper.

If you could just measure the barrel size in front of front sight gas block and it will tell the estimate of gas port journal size.

With the 14.5 and 12.5 model, the barrel begins to taper immediately but that’s how I’m doing it. With the calipers at the edge of the gas block. I’ll try to post a photo this week.

Here's a example of 16" upper, just the barrel before gas port journal.

Been looking at photos of T91 rifles and I've yet to see a single photo of a military rifle with a smooth sided FSB. All of them have a small step in the middle. Any ideas on when the transition was made to the smooth sided FSB? Anybody found photos of them in use?

There's no transition for military, they stay the same. We specifically modified them for U.S. market due to the barrel size.
Less than 1/16" just too thin for safety concern.

The 3rd gen on the description had me thinking that their was evolution of the part during production.
