The biggest need for a free float handguard or anything other than factory handguard is the amazing amount of heat that comes through from the gas block into the factory handguard after just one mag

So, after a little bit of filing I was able to get the lower handguard to fit in, might have to be fine tuned a little more but for now it's on. In other news the takedown pin for the og guards fits very well, although it will have to be stress tested to make sure it stays in place.
